Nolen B. Bailey

CFP®, CRPS®, ARPC, Director of Retirement Plan Services

Nolen joined CPS in 2011.

He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) professional, having completed extensive training and experience requirements, and is held to high standards of competency and ethics established and enforced by the CFP Board.

As a retirement plan specialist, Nolen also holds the Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist (CRPS®) designation through the College for Financial Planning as well as the Accredited Retirement Plan Consultant (ARPC) designation through the Society of Professional Asset Managers and Record Keepers (SPARK). He also holds the designation of Cash Balance Consultant (CBC), having successfully completed the Kravitz Cash Balance Consultant Certification Program.

Nolen holds his Series 65 license as a Registered Investment Advisor Representative.

He is licensed by the Florida Department of Financial Services for Life, Health and Disability Insurance.

Nolen is a graduate of Leadership Lakeland Class XXX, and Leadership Polk Class X, and is actively involved in both Leadership alumni organizations.

He is a member of the Vistage Key Executive Program.

Nolen holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Florida Southern College, where he majored in financial management with a minor in economics.

He has worked with businesses and employee benefit offerings since 2007. A frequent speaker on the topic, Nolen is passionate about the retirement plan industry, and he uses that passion to assist business owners in designing retirement plans aimed to uniquely fit each client’s specific needs.

He is the current President of the Florida Southern College ’6th Man Club’ basketball organization, serves on the board of the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Alliance of Central Florida, serves on the Executive Committee of the Florida Southern College Spivey Society and is the Past President of the Lakeland BNI Chapter – Business in Motion.

Nolen is also actively involved with the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, EMERGE Lakeland, United Way Young Leaders Society, and the Sigma Chi Alumni Association of the Epsilon Sigma Chapter, where he served as president.

In 2014, Nolen received the Future Mayor of Lakeland Award given by EMERGE Lakeland.

Away from the office, Nolen and his wife Ashley enjoy reading, travel, and fitness.
