Originally from a farm in central Pennsylvania, Tom is a graduate of Penn State University and Radford University, a father to six children, husband to Dawn and a third degree blackbelt in Tae Kwon-do who demonstrates his art through teaching others all over the United States. When not spending time with his six children and four grandchildren, you can find Tom skiing the mountains of Colorado in the winter and backpacking through those same mountains in the summer time.
As a Certified Public Accountant, (CPA), with the AICPA Personal Financial Specialist credential, Tom’s passion is to help his clients achieve their vision of financial independence along with assisting them to fine tune their life’s purpose into their own unique “what’s next”. Tom focuses on those clients nearing retirement or are already in retirement who are wondering “what’s next” for them. Having a clear vision of who they are and what they want to achieve, his clients boldly pursue their passions. With that clarity of purpose and vison for each client, Tom prepares his clients for later in life transitions like the death of a spouse or changes in their living arrangements due to declining health. Tom has seen where a lack of planning later in life can turn dangerous for the surviving spouse. He won’t let that happen for his clients.
With over 30 years of experience in investing, financial planning, accounting and taxation, Tom brings a wealth of knowledge and life’s experiences to the financial planning process. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Florida and has earned the Personal Financial Specialist credential granted by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
